Bowman to miss next game (Football)

Zack Bowman can’t seem to catch a break this season.

The Chicago Bears cornerback from Anchorage suffered a sprained right foot in Sunday’s loss to Seattle, an injury that is expected to keep him out of the team’s next game.

Bowman had a noticeable limp and was in a walking boot when he exited meetings Monday afternoon, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The injury continued a frustrating season for the Alaskan, who lost his starting job a couple weeks ago.

Bowman, of Bartlett High fame, will have the bye week to recover after the Bears face the Redskins this Sunday.

He is seventh on the team with 23 tackles. He’s also got a forced fumble and recovery.

In 23 NFL career games, Bowman has seven interceptions and 91 tackles.
