Hardy goes off for 120 yards (Football)

Daniel Hardy of Anchorage racked up his career high in yards in yet another solid performance for the University of Idaho today, however it came in a losing effort.

The 6-foot-4 senior receiver caught seven passes for 120 yards in a 48-35 loss to host Louisiana Tech in the WAC opener for both teams.

His longest reception was 34 yards on a day when the Vandals (3-3) totaled 526 offensive yards.

Hardy, of West High fame, eclipsed the 100-yard benchmark for the first time in 22 career games. His previous career high was 91 yards against Boise State in 2008.

He has been the team’s most consistent receiver this season, with games of 82, 75, 82, 79 and 120 yards.

He has 19-321-1 totals on the season and 67-1,140-6 for his career.
