Kelter extends points streak (Soccer)
Unheard in soccer, a sport where scoring can be hard to come, Eagle River’s Alev Kelter is on a scoring spree.
The University of Wisconsin midfielder earned a point for the third consecutive game today, scoring in the 52nd minute during a 2-0 win over Iowa.
Kelter, of Chugiak High fame, found the net off a header.
In the last seven days the All-Big Ten sophomore assisted on an OT winner against Indiana, scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Minnesota and then added another goal against Iowa.
Kelter has scored four career goals.
