Knutson catches 51-yard at WVU (Football)

The UNLV football team didn’t have much to celebrate after losing 47-10 at West Virginia.

But Anchorage’s Tate Knutson must have felt a little pride.

The senior wide receiver hooked up with his quarterback for the longest play of his college career, a 51-yard catch-and-run play the third quarter that led to a field goal.

It was an even bigger play if you consider the Rebels were pinned on their own 14-yard line, looking for a miracle on second-and-12.

Knutson delivered.

It was the fourth catch of the season for the former East T-bird, who now has 79 receiving yards.
