Perkins drops 20 in road game (Basketball)
October 25, 2010

Anchorage’s Doron Perkins delivered his first 20-point performance of the season last night in leading Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv to victory in its first road game in the Israeli League.
The 6-foot-2 point guard also grabbed 7 rebounds and handed off 3 assists in the 104-87 win over Irony Eldan Ashkelon.
Perkins, of Bartlett High fame, started and played 29 minutes.
He barely missed a shot all night, going 7 for 9 from the field and 6 for 6 from the line.
Perkins had a couple highlight plays in the first half, setting up a teammate for a monster dunk with a beautiful over-the-shoulder delivery and then swishing a nifty 17-foot fadeaway jumper.
