Hydaburg’s Damen Bell-Holter delivered double figures in just 19 minutes of action tonight as Oral Roberts University won its first game of the season thanks to an 86-60 triumph over Arkansas-Little Rock.

The 6-foot-9 sophomore started at center and finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. He made 3 of 6 field goals and 4 of 7 free throws.

Bell-Holter is a big man who moves well for somebody his size. On one play in the first half I watched him pump fake a shot at the top of the key and then take two dribbles and glide toward the rim for a beautiful finger roll. He missed the shot, but it showcased his agility.

He did grab the offensive rebound and was fouled on the putback, earning him two free-throw attempts.

Bell-Holter is averaging 7 points and 4 rebounds through the first four games.
