Denver, Campbell advance in Sun Belt (Soccer)

Goalkeeper Lara Campbell of Anchorage collected her 33rd career victory in her 40th start today for the University of Denver in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
Campbell, of South High fame, made 5 saves in a 2-1 win over Louisiana-Lafayette in Bowling Green, Ky. The only goal she gave up came in the 66th minute.
Three minutes later, the 15th-ranked Pioneers scored the winner.
Denver improved to 18-2 this season with Campbell in net. With the win, the former Alaska Rush star improved her career record to 33-6-1.
