Foul trouble plagues Egolf (Basketball)
Bradley University junior Will Egolf of Haines fouled out for the second consecutive game as the 6-foot-9 forward struggles to stay on the court.
Egolf scored nine points and hit two key free throws down the stretch before going to bench in today’s game, a 74-68 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs in the Hall of Fame Tipoff in Springfield, Mass.
The loss was the first in five games for Bradley of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Egolf, of Juneau-Douglas fame, tied the game at 62 after sinking a pair of foul shots with 80 seconds to play. The Alaska big man played only 13 minutes.
He has been plagued by foul trouble all season, committing 19 fouls in 5 games.
As a result, his minutes are down and so are his numbers as he averages only 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
