Hardy snubbed for all-star bid (Football)
Anchorage’s Daniel Hardy delivered a solid senior season for the University of Idaho, but because he doesn’t play in a BCS conference his steady production apparently went unnoticed.
That had to be the reason why he wasn’t selected to the annual Senior Bowl.
What other explanation is there?
Hardy, of West High fame, had comparable numbers with the other four tight ends selected to the all-star game that dates back to the 1950s despite playing in four fewer games due to a broken forearm.
Not only that but Hardy was a semifinalist for the Mackey Award, along with Kendricks and Williams (the winner).
