Egolf collects double digits in loss (Basketball)

Will Egolf of Haines enjoyed his best game on the glass since Thanksgiving tonight during a 12-point, 7-rebound effort for Bradley University.

The 6-foot-9 center started and played 29 minutes during a 70-67 road loss to Evansville in Missouri Valley Conference action.

The junior big man made 5 of 10 field goals and 2 of 3 foul shots. He also collected 3 assists, 2 blocked shots and 2 steals before fouling out.

Egolf, of Juneau-Douglas High fame, reached double figures for the first time in five games.

His rebound total was the highest since pulling down 12 on Nov. 24.

In 20 games, Egolf is averaging nearly 9 points and 5 rebounds.
