Wilson makes most of rare start (Basketball)

In the starting lineup for just the second time this season, Deray Wilson of Anchorage made the most of his opportunity.

The junior guard bagged 20 points on 7-for-16 shooting to highlight tonight’s 81-66 win over Johnson & Wales.

Wilson, of West High fame, added 6 assists and 4 steals in 37 minutes. The 5-foot-9 playmaker also made 6 of 10 foul shots.

Adams State improved to 14-4 on the season.

Wilson leads the team in scoring at 13.2 points per game, despite coming off the bench most of the year.
