Bell-Holter’s super season ends (Basketball)

Alaska’s top college basketball player saw his sensational sophomore season come to an end last night when Oral Roberts University dropped a 64-57 decision to SMU in OT in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament in Dallas.
Damen Bell-Holter of Hydaburg scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes before fouling out.
He made 4 of 9 field goals and both foul shots. He added 2 steals, a steal and a blocked shot.
By comparison, it was a pretty average performance for the 6-foot-10 starting center.
He averaged a career-high 13.3 points and 7.8 rebounds in 35 games, highlighted by season highs of 20 points and 17 rebounds.
Bell-Holter delivered nine double-doubles and fouled out just four times.
Oral Roberts finished the season 19-16.
