Trajan Langdon

Anchorage’s Trajan Langdon delivered double figures today to help struggling CSKA Moscow pull into third place in the Russian League.

The 6-foot-3 Hall-of-Fame guard drilled three 3-pointers and scored 11 points in an 81-70 victory over Khimki, a win that propelled CSKA Moscow (11-6) three spots from sixth to third. Meanwhile, Khimki fell from third to fourth.

Langdon, of East High fame, started and played 25 minutes. He also had 4 rebounds.

The All-Euroleague veteran is having his worst professional season since taking his game overseas nine years ago.

Averaging just 8.5 points in league play through 17 games, Langdon’s scoring average is threatening to slip below double digits for the first time since he suited up for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2001-02 season.
