The Big 3 gets the pub, but Anchorage’s Mario Chalmers stole some of the spotlight tonight.

The former Alaska player of the year sparked the Miami Heat in a 97-91 Game 5 win over the Philly 76ers that moved the Heatles into the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Chalmers, of Bartlett High fame, came off the bench to deliver 20 points and six 3-pointers, a playoff career high. His previous high was four; he had that by halftime.

The 6-foot-2 point guard was also plus-20 when he was on the court, the top rating of any player.

Chalmers, a third-year veteran and former starter, replaced current starter Michael Bibby in the first quarter and basically never came out, logging 31 minutes.

The Alaskan had accounted for just 17 points in the first four games put together.
