Anchorage’s Cameron Allen and the Illinois Wesleyan football team wore down Hope College in a 35-0 victory in NCAA D3 action today.

Allen, of Service High fame, is a junior running back who rushed the ball 10 times for 68 yards.

He didn’t start, but the 5-foot-9 speedster did carry the ball on the second play of the game. He got the ball twice in the first quarter, twice in the second and three times in the third.

Then he exploded in the fourth quarter, busting off runs of 13 and 42 yards. The 42-yard run was a career long and set up Illinois Wesleyan’s final touchdown.
