Kuper named Broncos captain (Football)
Sixth-year NFL veteran Chris Kuper of Anchorage has been named a team captain for the Denver Broncos.
The 6-foot-4, 303-pounder is one of the best offensive linemen in the league, having allowed just 10 sacks over his last 57 starts.
Kuper, of Dimond High fame, is entering his fifth season as the team’s starting right guard. He’s more than that, though; he’s a cornerstone of the franchise’s future.
Look for Kuper (No. 73) on Monday Night Football this week against the Raiders.
