Manumaleuna, BYU shine on defense (Football)
Few college football teams travel to Austin, Texas and beat the Longhorns.
BYU and Anchorage’s Ethan Manumaleuna nearly did.
The junior starting lineman was part of a terrific defensive effort by the Cougars in a 17-16 loss that came down to the fourth quarter.
Manumaleuna, of East High fame, made four solo tackles.
The 6-foot-2, 294-pounder is part of one of the defensive fronts in college football. BYU was coming off a 14-13 victory over Ole Miss of the mighty SEC.
He has registered nine of his career 61 tackles this season.
