Miles scores on first touch (Football)

Kenai’s Brandon Miles helped Bemidji State University win a wild OT thriller today to give its coach his 100th career win.

Miles scored the first time he touched the ball on a 9-yard TD run in the fourth quarter on a day when Bemidji State needed every point in a 30-27 upset of No. 16 Augustana College in NCAA D2 action.

It was the eighth career touchdown for Miles, a senior running back.

He finished with three carries for 19 yards. His first run was the TD. Then he carried it 6 yards and again for 4 yards.

For his career, Miles has galloped for 1,078 yards.
