Anchorage’s Corey Madden owned the strike zone tonight. The relief pitcher for the Triple-A New Orleans Zephyrs threw 15 strikes on just 18 pitches while facing three batters during a 3-2 win over the Oklahoma City RedHawks. Anchorage’s Daniel Hardy today was among 26 players released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as NFL teams trimmed their rosters down to 53 players by today.
