What a difference a year makes for The Master’s College men’s basketball team.

After being terrible last season the Mustangs have won 7 of their first 8 games this season, sparked by the play of Anchorage guard Leif Karlberg.

The junior guard pumped in 13 points as The Master’s upset No. 16 Biola in NAIA action last night.

Karlberg, of Grace Christian fame, scored 17 and hit 5 threes in his last game against Mudd-Scripps.

The former Alaska Class 3A Player of the Year is averaging 12.4 points on the season.
