Griffin staying steady in Israel (Basketball)

Kelsey Griffin of Eagle River played a pivotal role in helping Maccabi Ramat Hen edge Israeli League rival B.C. Habikaa 68-65 in a fight for fourth place.
The former University of Nebraska All-American collected 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists and played all 40 minutes.
Griffin, of Chugiak High fame, made 7 of 12 shots from the floor.
Maccabi is 8-4 on the season, a half-game out of third place. One of Griffin’s teammates is former UAA guard Limor Peleg, who is from Israel.
