Peter Bullock of Anchorage wasn’t going to let his moment slip away.

Playing his first Norwegian League championship game, the 6-foot-6 center delivered an all-star performance with 18 points and 10 rebounds as Froya Basket edged the Asker Aliens 80-78 for the title.

Bullock, of UAA fame, sank 6 of 10 field goals and 6 of 8 free throws, taking the ball to the rim rather than settling for jumpers. He also had 3 steals, showing his full-court game.

Not bad for a 29-year-old who has hinted that he will retire.

“The series and playoff gold was a nice feeling this year,” Bullock told me. “As we talked about earlier, I am graduating in June and am going to start working so I have to push basketball to the side while I start my new career. My team is trying to get me to comeback but I have 99 percent made up my mind that it is time to move on.”

Bullock finished among the Norwegian League top 10 leaders in scoring [15.8], rebounds [8.8], steals [2.1] and blocked shots [1.0].

He earned an All-League First Team honors and was named Center of the Year for the second straight season.

Peter Bullock finished his college career at the all-time leading scorer at UAA. In nine years as a pro, he has played in Australia and Norway.
