Miami bestows honor to Syl Bullock [Basketball]

University of Miami women’s basketball player Sylvia Bullock of Anchorage was tapped into UM’s prestigious Iron Arrow Society, which dates back to 1929 and is known as the highest honor attained at the university. Bullock, of South High fame, has been the glue that has kept the Hurricanes together the last four seasons and her 119 career blocked shots rank fourth in program history. She in on pace to earn her degree in English Literature in May.
