Perkins fouls out, team drops out [Basketball]

Once Doron Perkins of Anchorage vanished, so did Bennett Cantu in the Italian League playoffs.
Once ahead 2-0 in the best-of-5 quarterfinals series, Bennett Cantu went into meltdown mode and dropped the final three games to Scavolini Pesaro, including a 78-69 decision in Game 5.
Perkins, of Bartlett High fame, fouled out of the game.
Before he departed he delivered his usually strong performance with 6 points, 6 steals, 3 assists, 3 boards and 1 block in 34 minutes.
It’s a disappointing ending to the promising season that saw Bennett Cantu win 12 of its first 15 games with Perkins in the lineup.
