Egolf shows promise in workouts [Basketball]

The return of Bradley University senior Will Egolf is off to a promising start.
The 6-foot-9 center from Haines missed last season with a knee injury and received a sixth season of eligibility from the NCAA.
Egolf averaged a career-best 8.1 points to go along with 4.1 rebounds as a junior.
“He certainly seems to have his explosiveness back,” coach Geno Ford told the Wichita Eagle. “The thing that he is lacking is that timing. When you sit out 12 months that is going to take some time to come back.”
Egolf, who missed a season earlier with an injury to the same knee, is playing in all workouts, but skipping some pickup games, which is where he got hurt last time.
