Moore back in WNBA with Atlanta [Basketball]
Palmer’s Jessica Moore is headed back to the WNBA.
The Atlanta Dream today signed the veteran center, hoping the 6-foot-3 defensive specialist can improve the team’s rebounding troubles.
Moore, of Colony High fame, played last season with the Connecticut Sun. She averaged 1.7 points in 29 games.
This will be her fifth WNBA team in eight seasons.
Her best season came with the Indiana Fever in 2009, when she averaged 4.8 points and 3.1 rebounds and a key member of a team that advanced to the Finals, losing in the decisive Game 5.
