‘AK Kid’ set for UFC fight [Mixed Martial Arts]

After dropping to featherweight, Alaska’s Cody McKenzie is looking to drop his opponent.
The Cordova mixed martial arts fighter will take on former title challenger Chad Mendes at UFC 148 this Saturday in Las Vegas.
The main event is Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen.
McKenzie is a submission specialist, with 12 of his 13 pro wins coming via the tap.
His signature move is his patented variation on the guillotine choke.
McKenzie is best known for his stint on “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 12, submitting cast mate Aaron Wilkinson with his favorite maneuver at the live season finale in 2010.
He lost his next two UFC fights before finishing off Marcus LeVesseur with a guillotine in May.
