Desjarlais expects big things at Arkansas [Soccer]

A new women’s soccer coach at the University of Arkansas means a new direction.
Or so Anchorage’s Yvonne Desjarlais hopes.
The junior forward expects the Razorbacks to bounce back from last year’s 4-14 season and qualify for the SEC Tournament.
“I think we can definitely do that this year,” she told The Arkansas Traveler.
Desjarlais, of Service High fame, also has high expectations for herself.
“I want to be an impact player and a threat in the box,” she said. “And for the team, we’ve got to win more than half the games.”
It all starts with new coach Colby Hale.
“It’s made a huge difference,” Desjarlais said. “We have the three best coaches. It’s exciting.”
