Way went 7 innings in a 13-4 victory over the Amarillo Sox in independent pro ball in Texas. He allowed 4 hits, 5 walks and 2 runs.
He also struck out a season-high 12 batters and lowered his ERA to 2.79 in 77.1 innings.
