Harris signs with German pro team [Basketball]
Ramon Harris of Anchorage is headed to Germany after agreeing to terms with Goettengen of the Bundasliga Pro A division.
The 6-foot-7 forward played in the NBA’s D-League over the summer. He appeared in 41 games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, averaging 5.4 points and 3.2 rebounds.
Harris, of West High fame, is a former starter at the University of Kentucky.
The 24-year-old has also played professionally in Venezuela and China.
In Germany, Harris will play for a Goettengen team that last year included guard Kyle Bailey of Fairbanks.
