Tarver nets first goal of season for NAU [Soccer]

Alaska’s Sarah Tarver provided a glimmer of hope for Northern Arizona University in a 3-1 loss to Oklahoma. The sophomore midfielder delivered her first goal of the season, a 25-foot firecracker in the eighth minute to give NAU a 1-0 lead. Harris signs with German pro team [Basketball]

Ramon Harris of Anchorage is headed to Germany after agreeing to terms with Goettengen of the Bundasliga Pro A division. The 6-foot-7 forward played in the NBA’s D-League over the summer.
