He hadn’t played in a game in more than a year, but it didn’t take long for Will Egolf of Haines to dust off the rust.
The 6-foot-9 center dominated the paint as Bradley University posted a 68-54 victory over Upper Iowa in a preseason exhibition game in Peoria, Ill.
Egolf led his team with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting. He grabbed four rebounds.
The former Juneau High all-star missed last season with a knee injury and received a sixth season of eligibility from the NCAA.
Egolf averaged a career-best 8.1 points to go along with 4.1 rebounds as a junior.
