With 105 goals in 20 games, the Peninsula College women’s soccer team strikes fear into opposing goalkeepers.

Alaska’s Kendra Miner and Jordan Dinneen are two of the most intimidating figures.

Together, they provide much of the scoring punch that has helped Peninsula post a 19-1 record and earn a No. 11 national ranking among junior college teams.

Miner, of Wasilla High, has 10 goals to ranks second on her team and eighth in the NWAACC. The sophomore midfielder also has six assists.

Dinneen, of Service High fame, leads her team and ranks second in the NWAACC with 13 assists. The sophomore midfielder has scored seven times.

Peninsula includes fellow Alaskans Alexandra Rojas-Ayala, Aubrey Briscoe, Miranda Muotka and Ashlyn Frizzelle.
