Bookert FTs key win for Seminoles [Basketball]

Freshman Devon Bookert of Anchorage was the difference down the stretch for Florida State in a 79-76 victory over Shootout champion Charlotte.
The 6-foot-3 guard had a hand in six of his team’s final 11 points, including key free throws inside the final minute to ice the win.
Bookert, of West High fame, finished with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
With his team nursing a 68-64 lead, he assisted on a 3-pointer at the 3:45 mark. Then he made a free throw with 36 seconds left and to more with 21 seconds left.
The former Alaska player of the year is averaging 5.7 points in 11 games and has a 28-to-20 assist to turnover ratio.
