Wasilla’s Jenna Johnson helped Utah State get an OT win and a school record tonight.
The former Alaska player of the year bagged 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting in a 79-66 victory over the University of Texas-San Antonio.
Utah State made 24-of-25 free throws for a school record 96 percent, with Johnson making both of her attempts.
Johnson also collected seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in 42 minutes. More impressive was the fact she made just one turnover despite handling the ball as much as a guard does.
This has been a career year for the senior guard, who scoring [12.9], rebounding [6.0] and shooting [.471] like never before.
