Karlberg tallies season-high 24 [Basketball]
December 16, 2012

Leif Karlberg of Anchorage is one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in the history of The Master’s basketball program.
He ranks No. 2 on the all-time career list and No. 4 and No. 10 on the single-season list.
But his name is nowhere to be found when it comes to shooting percentages, something he’s changing this season.
Karlberg, of Grace Christian fame, is shooting a career-high 40 percent from long range through the first 10 games of his senior season.
Last night he made 6-of-7 3s en route to scoring a season-high 24 points in a 67-56 win over UC Santa Cruz.
Karlberg shot 37 percent from long range last year and 35 percent the year before that.
This year he is averaging 12 points, right on his career number.
