Dampier dominates first college race [Track]

Wasilla’s Morgan Dampier made quite an impression with the Sacramento State track team, winning the women’s 800 meters in her first collegiate competition. The former Alaska state champion crossed the line in 2:14.37 – a second faster than the rest of the field. It was also the sixth-fastest time in Sacramento State school history.
