January 1, 2013

He already owns one record at Eastern Washington.
Now Kevin Winford of Anchorage is shooting for a second.
The senior guard continues to climb the school’s all-time list for games played with 100 and could break the record of 119 set by Marc Axton from 2002-05.
The team has 20 games left this season, including at least one appearance at the Big Sky Championships.
Winford, of Bartlett High fame, is already in the record book for most 3-pointers made in a single game.
Two years ago, the 5-foot-11 guard pumped in a career-high 39 points and drained 10 threes against New Hope Christian College.
Winford ranks No. 5 on the career 3-point list with 119.
He is also a three-time member of the Big Sky All-Academic team.
