Grazulis named week’s top athlete [Basketball]
Palmer’s Allie Grazulis was a catalyst on both ends of the floor in leading the Colorado School of Mines to wins over Regis and Metro State.
As a result the junior forward was named the school’s student-athlete of the week.
The 5-foot-11 post player averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds on the week.
She had 16 points and eight rebounds in a 71-70 victory over Regis, then collected 16 points and 14 rebounds in a 57-56 win over Metro State.
Grazulis, of Colony High fame, ranks second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at 9.5 rebounds per game. She also ranks second in the conference in double-doubles .
