Grazulis nets game winner for Mines [Basketball]

Palmer’s Allie Grazulis tonight bagged a team-high 16 points to lead Colorado School of Mines to a thrilling 71-70 victory over Regis in overtime.

But none were more important that the layup she converted with 60 seconds left that proved to be the winning points.

Grazulis, of Colony High fame, scored 10 points in second half and overtime periods, including her team’s final four points.

The 5-foot-11 forward also grabbed eight rebounds.

Mines is now 6-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Confernece, third among 14 teams.
