Alaska’s Jenna Johnson tonight continued her superb senior season for Utah State, recording her fourth straight double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Utah State lost 103-80 to San Jose State, falling to 3-2 in the WAC. It was a missed opportunity.

Johnson, of Wasilla High fame, sank 6-of-15 shots from the floor. Eight of her boards came on the offensive end.

The 5-foot-10 guard also had seven steals, one shy of her career high.

In the WAC, Johnson ranks ninth in scoring [13.9], tenth in rebounding [6.9], sixth in shooting percentage [.478], sixth in FT% [.805] and third in steals [3.3].

She should be in the MVP talk when it’s all said.
