Karlberg nets career-high 30 points [Basketball]

Anchorage’s Leif Karlberg enjoy quite the scoring weekend for The Master’s College, highlighted by a career-high 30-point effort against defending NAIA national champion Concordia.

He finished with a total of 49 points in the two-game series, making 9-of-19 3-pointers.

Karlberg, of Grace Christian fame, sank 10-of-17 shots and 5-of-10 3s in an 88-78 loss to Concordia. He added a season-high eight rebounds.

A few nights later he pumped in 19 points in a 67-59 win over Biola, snapping The Master’s four-game losing streak.

Karlberg leads the team in scoring at 13.5 points in 17 games.
