Winford going out w/ a bang at EWU [Basketball]
January 13, 2013

Back as a primary starter for Eastern Washington for the first time since his sophomore season, Kevin Winford of Anchorage is making the most of his extended playing time.
The 5-foot-11 guard has cracked double figures in scoring in two of his last three games, a milestone of sorts if you consider he had gone 53 games between double-digit performances.
He pumped in a dozen points in last night’s 60-53 loss to Sacramento State in Big Sky action.
Winford, of Bartlett High fame, has delivered steady 9-point, 3.5-assist averages over the last four games as a starter. Twice he has delivered six assists, one shy of his career high.
He has also made 7-of-15 3-pointers during that span.
