Britt wins NWAACC weekly honor [Basketball]
February 8, 2013
As one of only two women in the NWAACC averaging at least 15 points and 10 rebounds, Bobbi Britt of Anchorage is having a special season worth recognition.
It came in the form of her winning the player-of-the-week award.
Britt, of Bartlett High fame, helped Grays Harbor win a big game over Lower Columbia with a 20-point, 14-rebound effort. She was also a defensive wiz with four steals and two blocked shots.
“Her athleticism and consistency this year has made a huge impact on Grays Harbor basketball,” coach Christine Nelson told the NWAACC website.
Britt has recorded nine double-doubles in 19 games, with season highs of 28 points and 17 rebounds.
