Call her unorthodox. Call her unpredictable. Her coach called her both.

Lehigh might call Anna Simmers of Anchorage unstoppable.

The Army senior scored a game-high 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed off five assists in a 61-56 victory in Bethlehem, Pa.

“When [Simmers] plays within the system, she’s really good,” Dave Magarity told The Morning Call. “But it’s like reigning in a real colt. You’ve got to let her go sometimes.”

Simmers, of ACS fame, converted the game-winning basket on a floater in the lane with 1:29 to play, snapping a 6-0 Lehigh run and making the score 57-53.

The first-team all-league guard has seven games with 20 or more points this season.
