Grazulis makes history in RMAC [Basketball]
Palmer’s Allie Grazulis capped her best college season for Colorado School of Mines by landing on the All-RMAC Second Team for the first time.
High praise, but she deserved better.
The 5-foot-11 junior forward should have been a first-team pick after finishing the season as the only player in the conference to average a double-double.
Grazulis, of Colony High fame, was first in the RMAC in rebounds [10.3], tenth in minutes [31.7] and 27th in scoring [10.5].
She was the conference leader with 17 double-digit rebounding games, including a career-best and conference season-high 20 rebounds against UAF in Alaska.
Grazulis finished with 298 rebounds, the third-most in RMAC history and the most since Mary Meager grabbed 320 in 1980-81.
