Palmer’s Michelle Stratton is rewriting the softball record book at Presentation College in South Dakota.

One year after breaking the single-season average record by hitting .371, the starting third baseman is doing even better this season.

Stratton, of Colony High fame, is hitting .586 through the first 12 games with 17 hits in 29 at-bats.

In her last five games, she is batting a blistering .688 with 11 hits in 16 at-bats.

In other all-time marks, she ranks second in home runs [8] and third in RBIs [44] in a single season.
