Clarke needs just two throws to qualify [Track]
May 25, 2013

Defending NCAA shot put champion Jordan Clarke of Anchorage made quick work of his quick appearance at the West Regionals in Austin, Texas.
After a six-hour rain delay, the Arizona State All-American wrapped up his day after a pair of rather pedestrian throws by his standards.
His best mark was 61 feet, more than seven feet shy of his career best.
Still, it was the seventh-best throw of the day and more than enough to qualify him for the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore.
Clarke, of Bartlett High fame, was four career NCAA titles.
