Anchorage’s Jordan Clarke won two events and placed second in another at a local tri-meet involving the three major colleges in Arizona.

The Arizona State senior didn’t have his best stuff, but it was good enough to win.

The 6-foot-4 All-American earned victories in his specialty event, the shot put, as well as an event he keeps getting better in, the hammer throw. He was second in the discus.

Clarke, of Bartlett High fame, has now won 32 career track and field events, including four NCAA Championships in the shot put.

Through the years his win total was nine in 2013, 12 in 2012, six in 2011 and five in 2010.

He has also recorded marks in all five weight events [two indoor, three outdoor] that rank among the top 10 all-time in ASU history.
