Slowed by injuries for most of the last year, Chugiak’s Kelly Cobb appears to be full strength again.

The Duke University junior forward today enjoyed her best offensive production since 2011, scoring a goal and assisting on another against No. 1 Virginia in a 3-2 loss.

She scored in the ninth minute after using her left foot to redirect a centering pass into the back of the net.

In the 23rd minute Cobb lifted a ball to teammate Kaitlyn Kerr, who converted a semi-bicycle kick into the right corner of the net.

Cobb, of Chugiak High fame, has 2-1—5 totals in 11 games.
